Useful Tips

+ Pressing 'Shift' while drag-and-dropping songs onto Soritong appends the songs to playlist.

+ Time display works just like a seekbar. Click on it and drag your mouse side way.

+ In Auto Hide mode, player appears only when you place your mouse on the desktop corners.

Sept. 16, 1999 - Soritong 1.0 Released

Soritong 1.0 is finally here! The new features include CD-Audio support, WMA (MS Audio 4.0) support, timer, playlist (.pla) bug fix, and expanded language pack (Configuration is now localizable).

* We are very sorry about the lack of any updates for last several months. It's not that it took us that many months to upgrade Soritong, but rather we have been working hard on several other projects to support ourselves financially. Brand new player is also under development right now, and we are sure that it will make up for the several months of silence.

Mar. 25, 1999 - Soritong 1.0 Beta 3 Released
Soritong 1.0 beta 3 is here! This is a second minor update to Soritong 1.0 beta. Compatibility issue with older skins, broken letters in Music Manager listbox have been addressed. Updated Player.dll described below is included in this version.

"pausing and then playing" (or seeking) causes static noise in Soritong 1.0 beta 2, try overwriting "player.dll" in Soritong directory with following file.

Mar. 14, 1999 - Soritong 1.0 Beta 2 Released
Soritong 1.0 beta 2 is here! This is a minor update to Soritong 1.0 beta. "Invalid Floating Point Operation" error, Disk Output bug (invalid Wav file), shuffle bug have been addressed in this version. Refer to "What's New" for complete reference.

Jan. 23, 1999 - Bug Fix Version is Out
Soritong 99.1.23 is here! In this minor bug fix version, sound skipping problem caused by small buffer size has been solved, and "buffer size" option has been added to the configuration.

Jan. 10, 1999 - Soritong New Release
Soritong 99.1.10 is here! This version has a plenty of new features: Console (shown above) that displays main controls, equalizer, effectors, playlist and lyrics in a single window, VQF support (minimal), real-time skin color changer, resizable skin support, etc. For a complete list of new features refer to "What's New".

Nov. 25, 1998 - 3rd Bug Fix
A couple of more bugs have been fixed.

• mp2.5 playback bug fixed.
• Player window update problem (title-artist display update problem) fixed.
• Old skins now work perfectly (UI.TXT parsing problem fixed).
• Closing Soritong with system menu caused an error, which is now fixed.
• Improved wave display (2 new types added).

Nov. 19, 1998 - Another Bug Fix
2 bugs have been fixed. When "Do not use SoriBar" was selected, Seekbar and time display didn't get updated correctly. Second problem was when "Use SoriBar only when minimized" was selected, buttons on SoriBar didn't show up the next time you run the program.

We have finally released a new version of Soritong. Download Soritong Thanksgiving version today. If you downloaded the new version on 17th, please download Soritong again. It didn't run properly on Win95.
